VISIONS is one of the leading trend-setting magazines in Germany and they have picked out four of the most impressive post-rock guitar bands around for their own special showcase at Popkomm. The eye-popping line-up is The Megaphonic Thrift (Norway), Murmansk (Finland), Kellermensch (Denmark), And So I Watch You From Afar (Ireland). It’s at C-Club on Thursday 9th September. We pity the fool who would miss this!

We asked some of the Popkomm visitors which acts from the Showcase Festival Programme they were looking forward to seeing and why. Here’s what we got……

Gregor Stöckl

KELLERMENSCH (Denmark): I’ve heard and read some stuff, listened to the album, liked it a lot, saw a video which impressed me and expect nothing less than a massive, striking live-show and don´t want to get disappointed by them…!

HAUDEGEN (Germany): Ich bin ein Berliner. These guys are too. So, let´s see.

JESSE (Finland): I like what people have told me about them and would like to check out how far/advanced they already are and how ready the world is for them.

One of Berlin’s premier booking agencies and promoters, Four Artists, is arranging a night featuring some of its roster of new International artists. The show takes place on Thursday 9th September at Privat Club, Kreuzberg, and presents a stunning line-up including Laura Jansen, Marie Fisker, Julia Marcell, and Boy. This is going to be good.
